How to Prepare
Idaho Beef Stroganoff

Beef Stroganoff .. the Cowboy way

Prepare your beef. If using steak, slice into 1/4 inch strips.

Saute your onions in butter for approximately 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and cook another minute. Drain the mushrooms. Set aside.

In the same pan, saute your Idaho Beef on medium heat in butter for 8-10 minutes until it's brown. If using grain-finished beef, drain the fat. Add ranch dressing mix and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.

In a large pot, combine sauteed Idaho Beef, garlic, and onions, mushroom soup, beef broth, and mushrooms. Simmer for 10 minutes. Stir as needed.

Cook your egg noodles. Remove beef from heat. Stir in sour cream. Serve over egg noodles. Season with salt and pepper.
